"Get Smart" Film Review

Get Smart was a hilarious Steve Carrel comedy that is essentially a satirical take on spy films like James Bond. Steve Carrel plays Max Smart, an undercover analyst-turned-agent for the US government. He partners up with Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway) to foil a Russian plot to launch a nuclear attack on Los Angeles. Thanks to co-stars like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Alan Arkin, the film is able to successfully mix action with comedy, and it doesn't disappoint. The only thing the film could have done without was the romance between Carrel and Hathaway, which is cringe-worthy at best, but can be forgiven since the film does provide an unexpected amount of humor and entertainment.
