It's that time of year again when we want to get our homes spic-n-span. Most everyone does a big spring cleaning on their homes when spring rolls around. This is beacause, you can get outside, because of the nicer weather to clean the windows, sidewalks, flower beds and other aspects of you home. This is also because we tend to get a feeling of having more energy with spring in the air, and it is a good time to use that energy on something constructive around you home. GET SUPPLIES:

First you will want to make sure that you have all of the right supplies to clean with. To simplify this process, use products that can do multi tasks. For instance, you can now find multi surface cleaners, that won't only clean glass, but can be used on counter tops and appliances as well. This helps because you do not have to keep going back to get a new product, one does it all. Make sure you have a good sweeper ready when you get ready to start your cleaning. Make sure it is cleaned out and at it's best performance level.

CLEANING STRATEGIES:

To get things done faster, never go backwards. Always have a starting point at a room and work your way from the top to the bottom all the way around, moving quickly, but making every move count. Use both hands whenever possible, this makes everything go much faster. Put a sock on each hand for dusting, with some dusting spray on them and go to town with both hands, making the process go much quicker.

Pay close attention to what you are doing so that you don't miss a spot. Get help if there are other people that live with you that can sweep or help with the dusting. Use products on windows that will produce a streak free shine, this way you won't have to repeat the process.
