While going through this emotional part during pregnancy, we all want to be independent. We think we know it all and don't want our mothers advice. What we need to realize is our mothers went through everything that were are experiencing at this moment at this point of life. Have you ever heard the quote "Mothers know best"? Well yes, this quote is words to live by. Every time we have a question we ask our mothers. That is because they have the answers that we need help with when it comes to a child or children. Mothers have been through it all and dealt with it all.
For example: when I was in labor, my mother and my baby's father was there for me. She told me everything I needed to hear to build my strength again. She gave me advice at the time I needed. She went to my doctors appointments with me when I needed her to. She would purchase me the cutest things for my baby and I. My mother did these things to show me how much she cares. Getting advice from your mother is very helpful. When a mothers offers advice to you, take the advice and cherish those words. Believe it or not, one day yo will be in your mothers place and repeating those exact words to your children.
