Getting a Card with Bad Credit

tbkwriters
If you are like many other Americans and suffering from bad credit, than you may be finding it hard to obtain a debit or credit card, along with bank accounts. Now days it seems like no one uses cash for anything, and you have to have a card to purchase everything. If you have been declined from banks and lender companies for credit cards or debit cards than highly suggest that you go with a pre paid debit card.

Even though pre paid debit cards are great for people with bad credit, they are just as good for people with good credit. It is rare to get declined for a pre paid debit card because the bank isn't really taking a risk. They aren't lending you any money; you are only using the money that you put on the card. They have little to no monthly service fees and no interest rates. I personally have obtained one through visa and use it frequently. Many times with banks you are paying so much in monthly maintenance costs and transaction fees that you are paying the bank to have the card. With pre paid debit cards that is not the case. You can check out all of these details at Account Now.com, which is run through Visa. There is where I got all my information.

Every time that you use your debit card, its helps your credit go up. You can slowly establish and rebuild credit over time. Every time you apply for a line of credit and someone runs your credit score, it goes down. This doesn't happen when applying for a pre paid debit card because they aren't considering you for a line of credit. They will not allow transactions to go process without the available funds in the account, so you are getting hit with extremely high over draft fees either.

If you need to repair your credit, without high interest rates and risks than this is a good alternative for you. You won't get sunk in with fees and commitments, and can't get yourself any further into debt with a pre paid debit card. Also unlike a secured credit card you don't have to put an additional "secured" fee up front, putting you out double the money you need to spend.

Be careful with your money and start rebuilding your credit today.
