In this article I am going to walk you through the process of finding and installing Firefox extensions to your browser. You will be able to get as many as you want, and the way to uninstall them is easy as well, so you will never have to worry about getting one you don't like and it staying there for ever.
1. Open up your Mozilla Firefox Web Browser
Tip: If you don't have Mozilla Firefox installed on your computer already, visit www.firefox.com and install the newest version available for download there.
2. Type www.firefox.com on the address bar
Note: You can also get to the firefox page by simply going to www.mozilla.com.
3. Look for the Add-Ons tab on the top right hand corner and click it.
Note: If you don't see it there, then you're probably not looking at the right page, try steps 1-3 again.
4. Look for Extensions on the left hand side menu and click it.
Tip: If you see other words such as Plugins that might sound like if they're extensions, they're not. Look for Extensions and click on the link only.
5. Search the available extension categories, and chose the one that you would like to install.
Note: Look through some of the most popular ones or through the recommended ones, and you are sure to find great extensions that you will love.
6. Look for the green Install Now button and click on it.
Tip: Make sure that you are downloading a Windows extension if you use Windows or a Mac, or Linux one if you use that operating system.
7. Wait for the Install Button to become available or just click on it once or twice to get it running.
8. Wait for your extension to download.
Note: This is usually a quick process if you are using high speed internet, so if your download is taking long, cancel it and try again.
9. Restart your browser.
Note: If you have windows open that you don't want to lose, don't worry about it. When your browser restarts, you will have all of those windows back for you to keep browsing them.
I hope that after installing the extensions you saw that you liked you will enjoy using Firefox a lot more. Remember that extensions can be removed and there are tons for you to try out there, so don't just stick to something mediocre.
