Getting Your Hopes Up

I'm always told that I'm too negative, need to be more positive they say

But I want to be positive, but I don't want to get my hopes up

We all know what happens when you get your hopes up

They say positive thoughts attract positive results

But how can you be positive without getting your hopes up?

Good job. Believe me... there are many of us who feel the same way!

Good thinking but I still think we need to always have hope. Nothing is ever the worst it can get so I try to be thankful for whatever blessings I have and not worry about what I don't have.

But remember, in your quest to be positive - Hope deferred is all the more delightful and hopes fulfilled do not always look like we expect them to. Nice expressiona and very true. It is a difficult paradox.

Nice way of putting it. I like to see things in a positive light, but i hate being disappointed when it doesn't fall through. Totally understand this... :o)
