Whilst this may seem fantastical, the scene is completely realistic for couples getting married abroad, and very affordable with Italian weddings. Perhaps more so than you may think! It is definitely more appealing than having a few wedding snaps of a damp bride and groom against the walls of the slate grey local church after picking the wrong day in terms of the weather to get married.
Getting married abroad is extremely popular these days, and with good reason. Not only does a foreign climate give any couple the chance to experience a different culture and predict the weather accurately, but it also makes the wedding more about the bride and groom.
Too often, weddings are all about the family. As the old adage goes, you cannot please anyone all of the time and this can lead to a lot of bickering and in fighting on your big day. It is not unusual for a bride to have a nervous breakdown in the weeks before her wedding thanks to selfish and demanding families. Why not reclaim the biggest day of your life by planning a unique Italian wedding?
The scene described earlier accurately represents a scene from Sorrento on the Italian west coast. Sorrento is an extremely popular destination for getting married abroad and more couples are beginning to opt for the beauty and simplicity of Italian weddings. During the high season of April to September, there are three or four Italian weddings a day at the Villa Fondi and Cloisters respectively. If getting married abroad does appeal to you then Sorrento is definitely a place you should check out. There is nothing more memorable than Italian weddings so enjoy your day on your terms!
