How to Get Tickets to Be an Audience Member on the Show
Everyone has heard of the famous Oprah Winfrey show, but one of the hardest things to do is get tickets. First of all you should not plan on getting tickets within a few weeks or even a few months. It takes at least a year before you can get on the list for tickets to the Oprah Winfrey Show. What you need to do is make audience reservations to be on the Oprah Show. In order to Check on the current reservation availability you will have to go to Oprah.com, and check on the reservation list. If they do not have any seats available for that particular season then they will tell you to check back in the next season.
The reservations are mostly available by phone through the Audience Department. According to the Oprah Winfrey Website, the problem is that the Oprah Winfrey show is so popular that the demand for tickets exceeds the supply. So even when you attempt to call you will probably end up getting some type of busy signal. If you really want those Oprah Winfrey Show tickets then you will just have to keep trying until you get through.
On very rare occasions, it may be possible for you to send an email to the Audience Department to request reservations. Some people have even said that it has taken them almost two years to get tickets to the Oprah Winfrey Show. One thing that you will want to keep in mind is that if you want to get on the show during the peak times of the year, you will definitely have to start trying to get seats at least a year and a half prior. Once of the most popular shows is Oprah's Favorite things. This is the show where she gives all of her favorite things to her audience. Trying to get tickets to this particular show will definitely take you about two years.
When you speak to the Audience Department, try not to be so focused on one particular date. Instead you should be open to any date they have available, and then just plan to attend on that day. When you are dealing with such a popular show, getting tickets is certainly a long and difficult task. Another way that you can try to get to see the show is to be part of the show. If you go to the website you can click on the link that says "appear on show". Here you will see some of the upcoming topics that they are working on for their show.
If you feel that you have a story to tell, or that you would be a great addition to the show, then you should submit your information to the Oprah Winfrey show and see if you are picked to be on the show. Most people find that being on the show is a lot more nerve-wrecking that actually being in the audience, but if you really want to see the Oprah Winfrey show, you should really explore all of your options

I just want to say that I love your show and so does my mom, I am 14 teen years old and ever since i can remeber my mom has been watching your show, and every time I have seen her watch your show she is smiling, until one time I walked in when she was watching your show and she was crying, and it wasn't like a happy cry for all the good things you do it was a sad cry, so being the good daugter I am i asked her what was wrong and she said "Oprah is leaving her show and I just really wanted to see her or be in the wonderful aduience just one time before she leaves"

Hi Oprah I could not believe my ears this morning YOU ARE COMING TO AUSTRALIA. I have been hoping for years that you would come. I have been looking over the internet to get tickets for me and 5 of my best friends wich are not available yet. We live in the biggest inland city in NSW wich is 4-5 hours drive or 7 hours by train from Sydney. We are all from different backgrounds 4 Aussies 1 English and me a Dutch woman and what our friendship started was The Vincent The Paul wich is charity organisation where we do work one mornig a week. Still 4 of us are still working there after 4 years.SAome of us are doing hard and others are doing well.We try to keep in contact with each other by morning teas,movies,going out for dinner to see each other,have laugh or have a talk about our lives.
