Getting Ready in a Rush

With many of you, by the time drag yourself out of bed and get ready for school, there isn't much time left. Well here are some of my tips on how to put on makeup in only a couple of minutes and still look good.

5 minutes - Use a tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone and dab a little concealer under your eyes if you think you need it. Save a few seconds with a self-curling mascara and keep your brows in place with a dot of Vaseline before brushing them. For color, stick with sheer and neutral. Peachy pink lips and cheeks are easy to pull off, especially when you're crazy late.

10 minutes - Pink or a dark pink to red lipcolor is instantly glamorous. Put some color on a lip brush, apply it, and blot it with a tissue. Then dust your lips with a loose powder, which sets the lipcolor. Apply one last coat to finish it. Trace the border of your lip line with some concealer to keep it from bleeding and also for a really crisp clean line. Since your lips will be the center of attention, all you need are some sweet pink cheeks and a couple of coats of mascara. Also, take 2 seconds and tap a tiny bit of white shadow on the inner corners of your eyes to make them glow.

15 minutes - Purple flatters almost every complexion. First, start by lining your lids, top and bottom, with lavender liner. Then apply a light purple shadow. Then, with a wet eyeliner brush, line your top lid above the light purple line you just drew. Then using a dry eye-shadow brush, dust the powder over both lids up to the crease. With your finger, blend the color up toward your brow bone. Don't forget the mascara! Keep the balance with the rest of your face by staying near the same colors. In other words, purple or pink lipstick and blush would go perfect. If pink is too much for you, a few swipes of a shimmery purple gloss can tone things down.

These tips should save you a lot of time in the morning, help you look good and still be on time for class!
