Getting What You Want

Getting what you want is not always easy in life, dating and relationships. But it doesn't have to be that difficult! The biggest mistakes I see people make is that they are either setting their goals too small or having unrealistic expectations. Look in the mirror. Do you like what you see? You have to love you first before you can truly love anyone else. What do you have to offer? Are you asking for more or less than you can bring to the table yourself?

In order to find what you are looking for you have to have a clear understanding of who you are and what you truly want, a vision so to speak. Then and only then can you lay out a specific plan on how you are going to achieve your goal. When making a plan you must consider what has worked and what has failed for you in the past. If we do not learn from our mistakes we are condemned to repeat them. However, the most important part in achieving your goal is to follow through. You can't just give up when you hit a bump in the road.

Always remember to accept responsibility and don't make excuses. When you blame others or situations, you put them in control and not you. The only behavior you can control is your own. Understand that people will treat you in the manner of which you allow them to treat you. The only one in charge of your destiny should be YOU!

Attracting the person of your dreams is absolutely and totally within reach for anyone who sets their mind to it and approaches it with this mind set. Keeping that person is a lesson for another day...
