Gforce Minimonsta VST

Gforce Does it Again with Another Great Sounding VST

Sly Fox
Gforce has brought a line of amazing sounding VST synths that I use everyday in my home studio and so do many other underground and mainstream musicians. Minimonsta plays a lot like the M Tron and the ImpOSCar in the sense it plays just like a real hardware keyboard. Gforce does such a good job that most of the time I can not tell I am playing a software synthesizer.

Gforce Minimonsta can do leads, pads, random back round effects and bass like a pro. The Minimonsta is a Gforce Mini Moog recreation in VST form. Like the Mini Moog the Minions brings the bass harder than anything else it can offer. Bass out of the Minimonsta can be warm, deep and powerful or more wave based liked Dub bass and is perfect for experimental electronic music bass. I own a good number of VST instruments and they all specialize in different aspects of sound but I when it comes to bass, the Minimonsta is my machine.

Modulation wise this machine is the best I have ever seen for bass. The Geforce Minimonsta LFO rate and shape is very easy to access in live and recording environments which gives you a lot of options with you modulation. Dub producers should be very impressed with the this machine and how it can change modulation on the fly. Filter modulation on this on this machine is the best I've ever heard out of a VST to date and continues to impress me to this day and it seems I learn a new trick almost everyday to create some random sounding modulation.

Geforce Minimonsta is a stand alone product or can be used with other software with the VST format. Digital audio workstations (DAW) such as Ableton Live, Sonar, Cubass and many others all can be used to sequence the Gforce Minimonsta into a music track. The Geforce Minimonsta control channels can be controlled in real time by you via knobs and sliders on hardware controllers or controlled by your digital audio workstation in your sequences.
