Grey...grey is the area in which we live
It's for the birds they say - this is how we live
Death camps - coming to a theatre near you
And FEMA picks who will die and who will live
It's been swanned that we'll all die from the bird flu
But hell! Being cooped up is no way to live
Over 60% of all graduates
Won't find a job and will move back home to live
There are hundreds of thousands of coffins stacked
In fields - they do not intend for us to live
J.C. - another generation is lost
And the American Dream... labors to live.

This would be considered the first of my poems as part of the Repressionist project. Thank you everyone for your comments.
Interesting!
Visual, despondent, and full of longing, well done!
I am reminded of Bob Dylan's words: Then they bring them to the factory Where the heart attack machine Is strapped across their shoulders And then the kerosene Is brought down from the castles By insurance men who go Check to see that no one is escaping To desolation row
Intense! Dark days, friend.
I love it!
