The world of paranormal investigating can be quite daunting. Some of the technology that is used can range from expensive to more expensive. It can seem almost impossible to even get started with all the equipment that is out there. Hopefully, my list will be able to get you on the right track to becoming a paranormal investigator.
1.Pen & Paper
Believe it or not, this is one of the most important tools you will need in your arsenal. You will use it to record various things such as personal experiences you or your fellow investigators have. Weather conditions, such as lightening are said to possibly influence paranormal activity, by charging the air around you. Along with those things, you will need to record data such as moon phases, the way certain areas feel, and the list goes on. And of course we all know these pieces are very cheap to pick up from your local office supplies store, such as office depot, Staples, even such places as Walmart and Target. All for around $3.00
2.Flashlight
This is a must have. Mainly just for your safety. Since most likely you will be doing your investigating in the dark, you will most certainly need one of these. You wouldn't want to accidentally trip over a piece of furniture and get hurt. You can get a flashlight at your local hardware store, or electronic store for about $10.00
3.Camera
Don't for a minute think that you need some high end digital camera for an investigation. All you really need is a simple low cost 35mm camera, or even a disposable camera will work great. You can get a used camera from a pawn shop, or Ebay.com for $5-20 depending on the condition and type of camera.
Then all you need is film for it. And you can get that from Ebay.com or Amazon.com. A 5 pack can be bought for about $7.00.
4.Audio Recorder
There is a wide variety of different recorders you can get. Everything from analog to digital. Then there is also a bunch of different microphones you can attach to your recording device. But to tell you the truth, all you need is an old fashion analog recorder. Actually a lot of paranormal investigators prefer the old analog recorders. You can get one from a pawn shop, Ebay.com, even a flea market. These will run you about $5-20.
There is a possible downside to having an analog recorder for those of you on a budget. They require you to buy blank cassette tapes. But remember to only use one side of the tape when you are on an investigation. This is to avoid any possible contamination. You can get a 7 pack of 120 minute Maxell tapes from Amazon.com for about $5.00.
If you don't want to go through the hassle of dealing with cassette tapes, and you have your heart set on a digital recorder. Fear not, with a little patience and research, you can get one off Ebay.com for around $20-30.(That's exactly how I got my two Sony digital recorders.)
5.Emf Meter
These devices can be very useful while on an investigation. They allow you to find pockets of electromagnetic energy that can be an indication of paranormal activity. After looking around I found a quite affordable meter that would be perfect for investigators on a budget. It's called a E.L.F-Zone Gauss Meter. Which can be found at www.lessemf.com for $12.95.
So there you have it. I hope this list will help those of you who felt paranormal investigating was out of your reach. Now all you have to do is get out there and start hunting some ghosts.

Post a Commenti have seen enough personally, and heard enough things that i believe it. And no i don't think it would be a wild goose chase, but you shouldn't expect to get something on your first try, something like this usually takes time.
Do ghosts really exist? or would it be another wild goose chase?
