Robert looked around him. There was no grandmother to be seen. He paused. He didn't want to answer the door, but in the back of his mind he thought that it could be help?
Robert walked through the cobwebs to the door. He peaked out and it appeared to be Luke from the bar. The man who lost his wife to after seeing the ghost.
Luke was feverishly knocking, "Hello, Genevieve are you there, Hello?"
Who was Genevieve Robert thought to himself? He went to open the door, to let Luke in. He seemed like a kind enough man at the bar. Then as he was walking to the door he stopped in his tracks.
He felt something grab him, cold and wet. It grasped at his shoulder tightly. He wanted to scream, but nothing came out. He slowly turned his head to see an old woman.
"Robert I am so happy to see you." She said.
The women didn't look like Tom's Grandmother. She looked so familiar, so comforting. She looked like, no it couldn't be, she looked like Robert's Grandmother who passed away five years ago.
"Grandma?" said Robert.
"Robert, what took you so long? I have been waiting all day for you and your friend to come by" Said the old women.
"But your, not really here, you can't be, grandma, you died?"
"Silly boy, how can I be dead when I am right here, now would you like a Tuna Sandwich, I know it is your favorite."
"You're not my Grandmother. My Grandmother had a stroke, she died, and I went to her funeral."
"Now Robert do I look dead to you? So how about that Tuna Sandwich?"
Robert was in a trance. He didn't know if it was shock or some spell her sweet voice cast on him. He looked at her and said, "Yes, Grandma"
"Okay Robert I will be right back, you just sit down next to your friend."
Robert said down on the couch next to a near lifeless Tom. Tom was still bleeding and the blood covered the white sheet cushion that was on top of the mothball infested couch. Robert knew this wasn't right, he could still hear Luke knocking on the door, he still wanted to scream, but the trance, he was in a trance and he couldn't do anything but sit there next to his lifeless friend and wait for her to bring him a Tuna sandwich.
