Ghostly Apparition: A Halloween Poem

Loretta Snyder
Glowing vision in the window of the
Haunted house
On the hill
Shimmering white
Tops the stairs
Leaving a gossamer trail
Yellow eyes gleam in the night

A tragic death
Past lives haunting the
Present
A mournful cry
Rises
In the night
Terrifying passersby
In search of a thrill
On Halloween
Night!
