Ghostly Stories to Share !!

We are living in a technology oriented society where machines rule our day. In spite of this sophisticated life, still some unexplored things do exist in this world. Feeling the presence of a soul or feeling the power of a ghost is one such thing. I am going to share here some of the ghostly experiences that made me feel sick or shiver at that time of happening.

Incident 1 :

This happened to my own brother. One day he came home late after going for a movie. Next morning he was having high fever. My mother took him to the doctor. Even after two days he was not normal. A pious woman who worked in our household earlier came there unexpectedly. After her prayers she told my mother that while my brother was walking home, the spirit of a ghastly murdered person was looking at him from behind. Though my brother does not realize the presence of a ghost, his inner soul had felt that and was shocked to feel the presence of the ghost there. The pious lady blessed my brother with some holy ash and he was back to normal after two days.

Incident 2 :

This incident happened after four years of our married life. Myself and my husband were forced to live away from the family. My father-in-law was sick and my mother-in-law had expired just an year ago. Due to family problems, my husband took me away from the family. My father-in-law's health started to deteriorate after we left the house. My sisters-in-law were also married. There was no one to take care of him. One day my father-in-law was admitted at the hospital as he was diagnosed mild heart attack. I went to see him at the hospital. I could not control my tears once I saw him at the hospital. He asked me to bring some rice mixed with rasam (specialty in Tamilnadu households). We always give rice mixed with rasam to people who are ill. I promised him I will bring. Next day I went to the hospital and gave him the rice mixed with rasam. As the hospital people wanted only male caretakers to stay with him, I was forced to come back home.

Next day early morning it was around 4 o' clock. I woke up with a shiver because of a dream !! My father-in-law was asking for water and I was giving him water to drink. I could not understand what that dream implied. By seven o'clock in the morning, one of my brothers-in-law came to our home and informed me that my father-in-law had a severe heart attack around 4 am in the morning and the doctors could not save him. Now I understood the meaning of the dream. In Hindu mythology, the implications of water is significant. It meant giving relief to the soul and entering the world of eternity. A shiver went down my spine. Tears started to flow from my eyes when I realized my father-in-law was thinking about me when he breathed his last. The implications of the dream made us join the family once again.
