Ghosts and UFOs

Many people in this world believe in things that are completely unfounded. For example, a large number of people have said that they have seen UFOs and that they know for a fact that these were not vehicles from this planet. These people truly believe that what they saw was of another world. They do however have a problem because no actual UFOs have ever really been documented as being real. Now the ones who believe in them will say that the massive number of pictures and videos prove their existence but none of those pictures and videos proves that what they show is a real UFO. It is also true that 99.9% of photos and videos can either be proven fake or they can be proven to be other phenomenon other than space people from the sky.

This can also be said about people who believe in ghosts. So many people believe in them and swear that they have seen them, yet not one stitch of evidence exists to prove that ghosts are real. We see television shows with "ghost hunters" walking through buildings with silly gadgets that they say measures ghostly beings but again, these things are just fairy tales. They never capture actual evidence of anything paranormal and dare I say that they often times make natural things seem supernatural.

So why is it that so many people believe in such silly things that have absolutely no basis for any kind of existence? Why is it that so many people are convinced that they have see ghosts, aliens, Bigfoot and the like? Is it possible that these people just want to believe because it is fun to think that these things actually exist? Is it possible that some of these people have put so much effort into finding the answers to whether these things exist that they just cannot come to the conclusion that they were wrong and these things are just fairy tales?

While I do think it is fun to think about all of these things, I have a major problem with people who say that ghosts, UFOs and aliens exist for certain. Nobody can say that because nobody knows that they do exist or if they don't. But since there is no evidence, it is clear to me that there is nothing of the sort. I do believe that there may be life out there in the universe but I do not believe that little green men from the moon have landed here and abducted people. The people who say they have been abducted seem to all have one thing in common, they are strange.

So for those who believe in UFOs, ghosts, aliens and Bigfoot, I challenge you to bring forth evidence of your belief. Show the world that we are wrong when we say that none of these things are real and they are nothing but childish silly games.
