Gift Ideas for the Jewelry Lover in Your Life

No matter what your budget, you can find something special for the jewelry lover in your life. Are they trendy? Large stones are popular currently, as are geometric designs. Do they love their birthstone? Find something special for them in their favorite gemstone. And just what do you get for that unique person on your list who just doesn't want to copy everyone else? It's not too difficult to find some more unique gems that not everyone will own. So take notes and get shopping! This will be a gift for them to cherish.

You know they follow the latest trends, but you're not sure exactly what's in and what's not. Geometric designs are very popular right now. Especially popular is the circle pendant, often called the Circle of Life pendant. You don't have to buy the diamond circle pendant if you can't afford it. Circle pendants are currently very easy to find in many gemstones, or even plain gold or silver. If geometric designs aren't the right gift, big rocks are also in. Large stones on rings are especially popular. Of course, this isn't going to be affordable if they only like diamonds, but gemstones such as amethyst and citrine are very affordable in large carat weights. But let's say they do only like diamonds. Right now, colored diamonds are also quite popular. Due to irradiation techniques, colored diamonds are also quite affordable. Find them a nice pair of blue diamond stud earrings or a yellow diamond ring. Colored diamonds are even becoming popular in department stores. Champagne diamonds should be especially easy to find.

Birthstones are often the easiest gemstones to find, as most jewelry stores carry something in each birthstone. Incase you don't know, the common birthstones are: January - garnet, February - amethyst, March - aquamarine, April - diamond, May - emerald, June - pearl, July - ruby, August - peridot, September - sapphire, October - opal, November - citrine, and December - blue topaz. Many months also have alternate birthstones, but these are generally more expensive and less well-known anyway. If you know that the person you are shopping for loves their birthstone, take a look at the wide variety of birthstone jewelry available. If you think they already have everything in their birthstone, think about different colors of the stone. Many people don't realize that garnet basically comes in every color except for blue, and wouldn't that January baby be surprised to receive a tsavorite garnet ring if their favorite color was green? If you're worried about the expense of some of these birthstones, consider that many now also come in lab created form. Fine created rubies and sapphires are easily found in many jewelry stores.

It's easy to find the latest trends and birthstones, but what about that unique present? You don't need to buy an expensive one-of-a-kind piece just to be unique. Most people don't have gemstones such as chrome diopside, rutilated quartz, apatite, yellow beryl, and prasiolite. Yet these stones are actually quite easily found. If you can't find them at any jewelry stores near you, try the shopping channels such as Jewelry Television, Home Shopping Network, and QVC. Many reputable online stores also carry less common gemstones. Gifts with such beautiful exotic gems are sure to impress that unique person who is interested in the more uncommon jewelry.

Now you're ready to get out there, look around, and find that perfect present for a special person in your life. Whether they're trendy, know what gemstone they like, or would appreciate a more unique present, you'll be able to find them the perfect present without breaking the bank.
