Do you know someone who loves to play Sudoku? People who love to play Sudoku usually love getting new books filled with Sudoku puzzles. Did you know that there are more ways to play Sudoku than just in a book?

Here are some great gift ideas sure to please any Sudoku lovers that you know.

Magnetic Sudoku
What could be better than a magnetic Sudoku game board? No more erasing mistakes and trying to write over another number. This magnetic board comes with two sets of numbers that are easy to keep in their own storage case. One set of numbers is used to indicate the clues that are given to the player, while the other set is used to play the game and solve the Sudoku puzzle.

Sudoku puzzles are provided with this game. It costs approximately $10-25.

Dry Erase Magnetic Sudoku
Similar to magnetic Sudoku boards, this board is magnetized and lets you fill in the clues with magnetic numbers that are provided. Then using a simple dry-erase marker, you can use the clues to solve the Sudoku puzzle.

Puzzles are provided with this game, too. It costs approximately $8-15.

Electronic Sudoku
If you know someone who loves to play Sudoku wherever they go, an electronic version of Sudoku will be something they love. There are many different varieties of the electronic Sudoku game, and all of them are small enough to fit in a purse or your hand.

These games provide a great way to have something fun to do while you're waiting at the doctors, for a bus, or anything else.

Many of the electronic versions come with 200, 300, or even 400 puzzles built in, and have the capacity to make up your own Sudoku puzzles, too. These range in price from $10 to $35.

Colored Marble Sudoku
If you're tired of playing Sudoku with numbers, now you can play it with colors. This game comes with a wooden board, with all of the right Sudoku game spaces. Each grid has holes that hold the different colored marbles so you can play Sudoku with colors instead of numbers.

This puzzle collection includes 104 puzzles, with solutions, and clue cards to help you get started.

It costs approximately $30.

If the person has an iPhone or iPod Touch, they might also like a game called Cohabit. It's similar to Sudoku, but with a twist -- numbers and colors.

I find it to be less repetitive than standard Sudoku.

In Facebook, type in Gadzooku. This is an online Sudoku using pets (i.e. dogs, cats, fish, birds etc.) instead of numbers. Fun and colorful! I'm addicted
