Best of all yoga is gentle and the intensity can increase as you are ready for it. It is little wonder why it has drawn so many people to it.

Yoga t-shirt or workout wear. While yoga is gentle, people love it because it does give you a great workout. Anyone who does yoga would certainly appreciate more workout wear. There are lots of yoga themed t-shirts to be found, as well as other types of workout wear that come in a rainbow of colors. If you do not know your friend's exact size, probably t-shirts would be the best choice, as most yoga clothing is made of lycra and is very body-conscious.

Yoga classes. This is a great gift to get a yoga enthusiast. It can be helpful if you know where your friend or family member takes yoga, so you can get them a class card. A class card will permit them to take more yoga classes. Anyone taking yoga would certainly appreciate this.

Private yoga instruction. This is another great idea. Getting someone a private lesson or two is a wonderful gift idea, and can be very helpful in their study of yoga. As yoga is an exercise that increases in intensity as your own conditioning improves, private instruction can point out exactly what that person's strengths and weaknesses are.

Yoga tapes or DVDs. These are a great idea, sometimes it can be challenging to get your class because of bad weather or no babysitter. Lots of people use yoga tapes for their yoga practice, without ever taking an actual class!

Yoga magazine. Many people enjoy reading about yoga. There is a wonderful magazine called Yoga Magazine that is very popular. They focus on different types of yoga and interview experts in the yoga field.
