Ever hear of Diablo? Well Torchlight is the project of one of the developers that worked on Diablo I and Diablo II, and it is very similar in both style and game play. This is a very good dungeon-crawler game. In layman's terms this means it's a great action role playing game.

Overall the game is simple and has a low learning curve, yet it is still highly addicting. There is a huge variety of monsters to fight and almost an unlimited amount of different treasure you can find. You get all this for $19.99USD, which makes this game a must have for any gamer.

3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

This is the hottest new first-person shooter game everyone is talking about. It has amazing graphics, especially on a nice computer, and has a huge online community. This is great for anyone into war games or first-person shooters in general.

I can say from experience the single-player mode has a good story and has an option called Special Ops, where you can connect to a friend and play through single player together. A gamer would truly appreciate this gift, and it is a relatively new game so chances are the person receiving this gift does not own it already.
