Gifts for Teens in 2008

2008 Gift Guide

Jawbone: I saw the Jawbone on television a few days ago, and it would make a really nice gift for teens this year. The Jawbone is a Bluetooth headset that makes talking on a cell phone hands free. (That is exactly what every teen driving cell talker needs.) There's a feature in Jawbone that eliminates background noises, its made of medical grade plastic, and comes with a leather ear loop.

Wii Fit: How many of you have teens that are really active or either couch potatoes? Wii Fit combines both fun and exercise into a program every teen can enjoy and benefit from. Your teen can choose from fitness drills like aerobics, strength training, yoga, or balance games. As an example of Wii Fit, your teen can do push ups and run tracks in virtual reality settings. This Wii Fit is a sure way to get your teen up and moving and having fun doing so.

Flip Mino HD: The Flip Mino claims to be the world's smallest and most affordable high definition camcorder. With its small size, you are not sacrificing quality either. Your teen can take all the video he or she wants and then flip out the USB connector and attach to a computer to share. Flip Mino HD s can be personalized to match your teen's personality too.

Rock Band: With Rock Band, your teen can gather his or her friends and be a part of a virtual reality band with guitars, drums, and a singer. Colored notes on the screen correspond to buttons on the instruments and the play is scored. Your teen can even compete online against other Rock Band fanatics.

Myvu Crystal: This is the coolest thing I've ever seen and your teen definitely would enjoy a pair of these! The Myvu Crystal looks like a pair of high tech sunglasses. You connect a cable to your iPod (or other media player), and you get to watch full screen videos and not worry about anyone else seeing.
