From electronic devices to luggage, the following gifts for travelers are sure to make the recipient smile and appreciate your thoughtfulness.
If we were to survey 100 travelers and ask them what activity they engage the most in during travel (assuming they are not the driver), the answer would be reading. Most travelers bring their own book. Some purchase one at the airport or station. Other read whatever is offered on board as reading material.
Magellan's description says of this item, "Smaller than a paperback, this digital reading device contains more than 40 pre-installed classic books and a built-in dictionary, and weighs just 7½ ounces. Plus, you can download hundreds more books (even free) from several sites on the Internet, as well as MP3 music files and photos. Its internal memory will hold 1,000 books and with a 2GB SD card (purchased separately), the jetBook will hold 10,000 books - a whole library! The lithium ion battery will give you 20 hours of continuous reading, long enough for any international journey. Has adjustable font size and an easy-on-the-eyes high resolution five-inch screen. Not a bad price averaging about $7.29 per book (of the ones already installed, including the dictionary) and definitely much more compact and lighter in weight than its content.
