Giggling Fright - a Halloween Poem

Louisa Burgess
Ghosts and goblins and skeletons galore

witches flying, monsters spying

big kids scaring or at least trying

the night is cold and damp and so much more

hurry and scurry your trick or treating before it starts to pour

The wind howls through the night

a spooky feeling run, run, run

turn the corner this is fun

to the next house and out of sight

open bags heavy with treats and giggle about the fright!
