Gilley's PM Lunch is located at 175 Fleet Street, Portsmouth New Hampshire. Gilley's PM Lunch prides itself on being the best place on the seaboard for Hot Dogs and Hamburgers. Gilley's PM Lunch is a small little red building in a big city for New Hampshire.
The building is small but so are the prices. The taste is one thing that is not small though. One of the best burgers that Gilley's PM Lunch offers is the Chiliburger. The Chiliburger is only $4. The Chiliburger has poutine which is a French-Canadian speciality which is fries covered in a gravy with curds. It might sound odd but it taste much better then it sounds.
One problem with Gilley's PM Lunch is that is is very popular but so small. There are only 10 seats in the entire place and if you want to eat insides which you will most likely want to do on a cold New England day you will have a long wait for one of those coveted spots inside Gilley's PM Lunch.
Not only do you get a good meal at a good price but you also get lots of food for the price. Not all meals are as large as the hamburgers though. The Hot dogs while famous are not nearly as huge as the hamburgers. Not being a hot dog fan I can not personally vouch for Gilley's PM Lunch hot dogs but they are said to be the best on the Eastern seaboard.
If you are in New Hampshire and looking for a good hamburger or hot dog then you have to go to Gilley's PM Lunch. But don't let the name fool you it is open for more then just lunch.
