Gilmore Girls

Gilmore girls is a family oriented show. The main characters are LoraLie and Rory Gilmore. They are mother and daughter. The two girls live in the small
town of Stars Hollow. LoraLie runs the local bed and breakfast, the Dragonfly, and Rory attends Yale University. Though it is sometimes hard for them to
find time to spend together, there relationship is very well built. They have a wonderful mother and daughter relationship. Rory's father Christopher is no longer
in the picture. He never really was. They have a family dinner every Friday night at 7 o'clock at the Grandparents house. The relationship between the two girls
is quite amazing. It is almost more like they are best friends in stead of mother and daughter. They tell each other everything and do everything together.
Sounds impossible right? Well its not. This show is very well constructed.

I have to say it is my all time favorite show. The girls get themselves into some very sticky situations, but no matter what damage is done, they always seem to find love and faith in each other and be able to pull it though. I only wish I could have a relationship like that with my mom. They talk about everything. Things you would never imagine discussing with your parents, Rory gladlytalks about with Loralie. I'm not sure how long this show has been on the air, but i hope it says on for quite some time. Its a very nice show to watch.

Gives you quite a bit of hope that your relationship with your mother does not always have to be rocky. I think my favorite episode of Gilmore Girls, is when Sukey,the bed and breakfast's chef has her baby. The joy it brings to them. And some how Sukey having her baby brings LoraLie and Rory closer together.
The father doesn't come on the show much. He's not around much. He left when Rory was little. Didn't think he was ready to be a father. But they still
speak with and see him occasionally. LoraLie doesn't have the best relationship with her parents however. She got pregnant at 16 and some what
ruined there plans for her life. They feel she could have done much better then she has. LoraLie is very independent and does not like seeking help
from anyone. Epically her parents. But when times get tough, and there seems to be no other way out, she does ask her parents for help. Which they
gladly give her. It is a wonderful show. For those who have not seen it, I highly recommend watching it. It will give you a whole new look on your relationship
with your parents.
