Gingerbread Decorations for the Holidays

4 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Cups Cold Water
1 Cup of Salt
2 tbs ground ginger
2 tbs cinnamon
2 tbs cloves
2 tbs molasses optional
1 Pumpkin Cookie Cutter ~ Can use any style you would like great for any winter/fall holiday
Cookie Sheets
Extra salt for top of cookies ~ Adds a little sparkle to them~
Drinking Straw to make holes
Colored ribbon For Hanging

Mix all the dry and wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl until completely blended, turn out onto a lightly floured surface and role to 1/4 inch. Cut with cookie cutters sprinkle with salt use drinking straw to make a hole for them to be hung by, Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes let cool. ***** NOTE***** If you wish to keep these decorations for next year I would suggest spraying them with a clear lacquer*** Put ribbon through holes and find a place to hang. They are the best smelling decorations and very easy to make.

These are not edible they smell tasty but do not taste that great at all
