Ginny's Egyptian Cotton Strip Sheet Set Review
When my package arrived, I must say I was quite impressed. Ginny's Egyptian Cotton Strip Sheet Set were some of the best sheets I have ever had my hands on. Not only were the sheets thick, but they felt smooth and luxurious. The tread count of the sheets was 300 and while I know I could have spent more money for 600 tread count sheets, I was so impressed with this set, I didn't feel the need. In fact, I loved these sheets so much, I ordered another set almost immediately.
What I love most about these sheets, other than the fact that they are thick and feel so great against the skin is the color. The first set I ordered was Brick and it was such a gorgeous shade of dark red. The second set I ordered was Spruce, which was a beautiful evergreen color. Both have stood the test of time and still remain bold in color.
I have not had any pilling with these sheets. With cheaper brands of sheets, you may notice the fabric begin pilling after only a few washes, but not with these. The only problem I have ever noticed with these sheets is that they wrinkle quite badly. If you can't get the sheets out of the dryer immediately, it's no big deal. You can smooth out most of the wrinkles when you put the sheets on the bed.
I give these sheets 5 out 5 stars and feel that a price of $59.95 was well worth it. These sheets have not only stood the test of time, but feel better than any other sheets I have ever owned. While the sheets have gone up to $69.95 since I first purchased my sets, I still feel it's a great deal and plan to buy several more sets. Best of all, you'll pay $69.95 no matter which size you buy. I highly recommend these sheets. They feel luxurious and are affordable. What more could you ask for?
