Girl Dies Because Parents Felt Prayer Would Heal Her..

This town where I live , Well I have always thought that there was a few people that were kind of different. Now I see I was way off they are really different and I can not understand half the stuff I see and hear. In march of 2008 An 11 year old girl died at home because her parents felt prayer would heal her and not a doctor. Why I ask myself everyday , Why and how could a mother and father let their child suffer, how could they go and think that a doctor was not the answer, On March 23 she died from complications of diabetes that were treatable, according to a medical examiner. Oh but know praying will take care of her. My god she was so young and such a beautiful little girl. It took a relative from out of state to call here to the police department and have them send an officer to the house . The little girl stopped eating and drinking, she couldn't move anymore or talk reports say. She had gone in to a coma. Good lord people I have nothing bad to say about prayer but God gave Doctors the knowledge to take matters like this into their hands and fix them, help them or you could say heal them. Wow Cray people I tell you what I would never let my child suffer for nothing , my faith, nothing. This ministry that they belong to on line is just as crazy, they got a website up telling people they don't have faith in god if they take their loved ones to doctors , thats how I took it when I read it. WOW! telling people they need to stand by this family and support them, pray for them so they do not get charged with child neglect, well Last I checked that praying they did , well they lost a child because of it. There are allot whole lot of angry parents out there over this so I don't think a prayer is going to do the job. God bless that little girl and the siblings that were left behind, who are now removed from the parents house and living with family. Please anyone shed some light over my way and try and make me understand why people would do this?
