Part of growing up and being more independent is the ability to make the right choices and stick to it. One of the biggest choices you have to make that will change the course or your life will be the course to take in college.

College is one of the most amazing, hardest, and exhilarating experience you will ever encounter. It much shapes you into who you will be in the future. You might meet the man of your dreams or you might eventually reach the ideal career you have always dreamt of.

In choosing a career, you must first decipher what you real y want to become. No matter how impossible you think your dreams are, you must hold on to it. For some people, they don't really know hat they want. If this is so, they can analyze and reflect on their strengths. They might be a good cook, mathematician, or they might be great bargain hunters. If you cannot think of any strength , a wise thing will be to consult people who are closest to you such as your family and friends. They are most likely to give you a great suggestion.

Once you know what you want, you must now know what re your limitations. For some people, they want to be a doctor just like in the hit TV series but then they are afraid of blood, some want to become chefs but they get nauseous at the smell of poultry, and the list can go on. One must be realistic, if you plan to take a seven year course, will you or your parents be able to finance it. Having a debt could be typical but having a huge bet that you have no means of paying spells trouble and disaster. Also, you must also check the colleges that have the best course that you want. You might want to become a horticulturist but that course may not be available to your city and you might need to move. Do you see yourself moving into a new and far environment? Lastly, be generous in your research! Check out all the possibilities, hen make the most prudent one. Good luck!
