Girlicious: Pussycat Dolls-Inspired Pop Group Releases Debut Album

SDR2010
If you have ever heard of the Pussycat Dolls, then you probably are aware they then spent the last year doing a television series, which focused on their search for a new member of their group, This required that aspiring artists compete for an open spot in the hopes of landing a spot in the group.

In order to do this they were required to perform on stage with the other members of the Pussy Cat dolls and this performance was then analyzed and the girl who was most comfortable with the group and with performing along with the other girls was selected. This was the first season, however.

In the second season of their television show they decided to conduct a search for a new pop music female group along with the creator of the Pussycat Dolls Robin Antin. The contest featured 15 girls who were going up against one another to fill the three open slots in the group. This show lasted for the span of a few months and this created a feeling for fans as if they knew all of the members of the group.

Through the series fans grew to love the girls in the group and understand them as never before possible with artists within the music industry since there was a high level of caner on the series. The show has been over for some time now but it is not known when the group will be releasing their self-titled CD into retail stores.

However, I suspect that the group will be assigned a release date soon because of the fact that their album has now leaked onto the Internet and can be found in its entirety for download. I found the album here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Opt1gjJN6Wg along with the picture of the cover and I was able to listen to the full CD.

The CD has 14 tracks in total and clocks in at 51 minutes in length. It features Sean Kingston and Kardnall Official along with Florida superstar Flo-Rida. I found his feature to be the best song on the album and the only one, which I would consider listening to if I were going to listen to this album over again.

This was supposed to be an urban album but it is very pop-music based, which I did not like. I would give this album a 3/10 because it is a lot worse then any Danity Kane CD.
