U. S. District Judge Richard Smoak ordered the 34-year-old Richard Francis into custody after negotiations broke down with seven women who were minors when the Girls Gone Wild crew filmed them in Panama City

Young women flashing their breasts and preforming other sexual act has made Francis on of the youngest multimillionaires in the nation.

The contempt ordered was issued because the womens' lawyers claimed Francis threatened them during negotiations. Francis was supposed to turn himself in at noon on Thursday but refused to do so.

In a statement to the Associated Press Smoak said, ""This judge has gone as far as to call me the devil and an evildoer. It is a case of a judge gone wild."

Francis attorneys are currently appealing the order. Smoak had declared he would issue a warrant for the defendant's arrest if he didn't turn himself in. According to a court clerk no warrant had been issued at court closing time.

The Panama City News Herald reports that the soft core king cussed and threatened the plaintiff's an their lawyers just before a March 21 mediation began. Smoak said the outburst violated the court's order for the parties to negotiate in good faith.

Last week the judge ordered Francis to jail. He was also required to be civil to the plaintiffs and to pay the young women's expenses for the broken mediation. The judge suspended the original order after Francis said he would resolve the lawsuit. The deal fell apart when Francis wanted to change the terms.

Smoak reissued the order and hinted that Francis wanted only played nice because he wanted to leave the city. It's been reported that Francis was to the Final Four Tournament over the weekend.

"He may have snookered us and gotten out Saturday. But he's coming back," Smoak declared.

In December Francis plead guilty to charges of falling to check the ages of women at a 2003 filming. The video featured two 17-year olds topless. The court ordered community service, $1.6 million in fines and public acknowledgment of wrongdoing.

Richard Francis is set to face additional felony charged in Pensacola for similar charges.

US Today recently named Girls Gone Wile one of the "25 trends that had Changed America." Girls Gone Wild records a $100 million dollars worth of sales per year.

It's only a matter of time and they'll get him. I'm so sick of those stupid commercials for this DVD!

Ryan, a minor is not legally capable of consent. That's the whole basis of statutory rape laws. He violated the law to make money off smut and should be held accountable.

I hate it when a perv makes it big.

Francis reminds me a lot of Mark Cuban... It's not that he's necessarily trying to be a jerk, he just knows what he's capable of. He'll get off with a slap on the wrist. People have to realize that while what he does for a living isn't something many people approve of - he's not exploiting these girls... they are AGREEing to do it. They're the ones taking off their clothes, etc.

I guess he's a jerk and a pervert. Hopefully he'll learn that just because he has money doesn't mean he can treat people however he wants. Great story.
