Girls Should Not Be Envious: Even Megan Fox Gets Dissed

Jessica Ann
I hate to admit it but I am guilty of occasionally watching TMZ and recently I watched a lovely little spectacle where an unidentified man verbally accosted Megan Fox as she exited an establishment in Toronto. Here she is standing outside politely signing many autographs in Toronto when some guy starts screaming obscenities at her and telling her that she is "nothing in person" and that she "looks worse than my ex-girlfriend" among other unwarranted comments.

Here is a perfect example as to why young girls should not be envious of the "beautiful people" they see on television or in the movies. There is no reason to think that they live glamorous and happy lives. Though there are many polls and opinions that Megan Fox is one of the hottest and sexiest actresses around, you have to realize that not everyone thinks so. So the next time you're being picked on or someone around you makes an insulting comment, you really need to try to ignore them. You need to realize that they are either jealous or it's possible they are just not seeing what the majority of people may see. You may not be quite so beautiful on the outside, but you definitely are not ugly on the inside. I went to school with a lot of people that were so ugly on the inside, it didn't matter what they looked like on the outside. I can also say that a lot of those people didn't realize how many others saw how ugly they were, which then made them jealous of the people who were beautiful inside too.

As for this attack on Megan Fox, my personal opinion is that there are times that she looks absolutely gorgeous in this shot or that, but what girls need to realize is that if you had a sleep-over with her or any other celebrity you strive to be, I guarantee that you probably may not feel that way in the morning. You will see them without the professional make-up, the pro-stylist's incredible hair styling or for that matter, see them don a wig. If you are looking at pictures in a magazine or even on-line, I bet you don't realize how much touch up may be done on those pictures before they're released.

I remember a few years ago seeing a picture of Pamela Anderson and she looked horrendous. Her make-up must have been applied by herself or even possibly a monkey. There was even ample visible cellulite and uneven skin tone. This was a tabloid picture where there is no prepping before the shot and certainly no touch-ups. Just recently I saw a current picture of her where she looked about 10 years younger, twenty pounds lighter, with perfect skin tone, perfect hair and not an inkling of a wrinkle on her. I have seen the same with the likes of Heather Locklear, Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan. The thing is that as you get older you're less hung up on looking perfect everyday. The younger actresses make a little more effort right now to not let you see their "off" days which to us is basically any day.

The bottom line is don't believe everything you see on tv and don't let others ugliness have any affect on your life. You will realize later in life that those who were so rotten to you were insignificant then and they're insignificant now. The way they treat you will only shape your life if you let it and you don't need to let it. If you always believe in your own beauty, inside more than out, you will come way out ahead.
