'Giuliana & Bill' Season 3: Recap 11/22 Episode

Giuliana and Bill have lost their baby. But, they still have the house they bought in preparation for the baby and their expanding family.

Last week, they took off on a road trip to shake off some of the grief and stress of losing their child and Bill 'fessed up that he wasn't so sure about the house. You know, the one that he wanted to buy in the first place? Rut-ro.

His beef was that he wasn't so sure he wants to live in the suburbs, particularly, if they're not pregnant. I guess you can't blame him though; he is a Chicago city boy, after all.

The House that Jack Bill Built

This episode kicked off with the house going forward as planned with massive construction and way too much cash going out the door. Giuliana got involved with a few ideas of her own. But, with Bill stressing over the budget (and the fact that they weren't staying on one) he ended up putting the cabash on Giuliana's ideas.

Men and their economics, I swear.

Giuliana is still feeling the sting of the loss of her baby and still very much grappling with her grief. She's been seeing a counselor to help her work through her feelings and finally said she's worried they won't be able to have a baby since they had been trying IVF for two years and failing.

Run Giuliana! Run!

She decided to take up a half-marathon in a symbolic gesture of "taking some control" back over her body and her life. She shopped for the perfect pair of running shoes and I learned that I am not the woman with the largest foot in the world. That would be Giuliana with her size 11. You go girl!

Vegas Baby!

Our girl, Jules, finished her marathon while Bill took off to Vegas with his friends to blow off steam in ways that only guys can do - racing nascars and firing off assault weapons at a firing range. Yeah. Bang bang, baby. If that's not enough male bonding for you, the guys also decided to go zip-lining through a canyon. Nothing like a little "man-action" I guess.

All You Need is Love

But, while both Giuliana and Bill were blowing off steam and venting their stress over the loss of their baby, they both began to realize just how much they've needed each other. Bill came through in a big way telling Giuliana how much she meant to him. Awww.

Next week Giuliana will be helping her niece launch a modeling career. Previews suggest Bill is not too keen on the idea, but, something tells me Giuliana is going to win on that one.

No word yet on the house in the burbs, but I'm hoping they keep it.
