Give it Up Brett Favre

Every year, Brett Favre claims that he is going to retire but after the training season is finished he always comes back. This is wrong because if he doesn't want to train with the rest of his team or practice with the team then he shouldn't be allowed to play for the team. He is no different from any other person on the team, so why should he get to play if he doesn't train?

Favre claims that he owes the Minnesota Vikings one more shot at the championship. That maybe the case but why in the world does he do great in the regular season of football but then flakes out when he hits the playoffs? He wants one more championship (which I totally understand) but then he doesn't let any other quarterback take the snap. Very confusing!

In my opinion, Brett Favre just needs to give it up. He isn't going to take the Vikings or any other team to the championship. He is becoming a "has been". There are so many better quarterbacks out there than Favre. It is also my opinion that the NFL should not let Favre play if he cannot attend training and practices. Just retire already Favre. Yes, I understand that he loves the game but there are ways to still be part of the game without pulling the same stunt every year. Either retire or change your routine of announcing retirement and then coming back after the training season is finished. Get a grip and act like the rest of your team.
