Eternal Life is a Gift from God
Reflection: Have you ever received a special gift from someone that you cherished? Perhaps you kept the card that came with the gift and every time you look at that gift you were reminded of the person who gave it to you. The gift that God gave us is his son Jesus Christ. He gave his best gift so that we could receive the gift of eternal life. The gift of God is eternal life and it cannot be purchased with money or works. The greatest gift we can give a person as a born-again believer is the gift of eternal life. We do this by sharing the good news of the gospel with someone.
Acts 8:20 But Peter said to him, "Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.Search
