They make it so easy to design t-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads, etc., that ANYONE with a sense of humor and a little bit of wit can do it. You don't even have to be a Photoshop genius. Although, I admit it does help if you are. What's even better is that they give you a cool Flash slideshow displaying your products that you can embed on any website...even your MySpace page! Plus, if you sign up for an Associate Account, you can make up to 17% on the sale of YOUR products! Best of all, it's completely free! You've got nothing to lose with this one.
www.auctionads.com
This site is owned by this guy named ShoeMoney who I'm sure you've never heard of, but it does offer a really cool system for getting content-targeted eBay ads on your website. It's even simpler to use than Google AdSense, but it displays the current bid prices of the items in the ads - which makes it incredibly difficult for interested buyers to resist a bargain! This system works great with Blogger!

I admit they're not one of the big payers out there, at least not for me yet, but if you love to write it's a fun site. It pays based on article ranking and ad clicks. It's a hybrid between a debating and rating system, but the subjects are so diverse and fascinating that it's hard not to find something you have an opinion about. Plus, you do get paid for your responses. The more you write, the more you earn.
www.printnpost.com
PrintNPost pays based on Google AdSense clicks. The more people post blogs and articles to the site, the more money you stand to make because more traffic = readers = more ad clicks.. It works on the very simple concept that CONTENT IS KING. The more you post and the better you writing is, the more readers (and potential sources of income) you'll attract to your articles.

The more established older brother of Zazzle.com, there's no denying they're leading the pack in print-on-demand products. For my experience though, I found their design choices more limiting and difficult to implement than Zazzle. And, you're very restricted on the number of products you can offer unless you pay $6.95 a month for a Premium shop. However, the Basic shop is free. And like I said, they are one of the largest print-on-demand retailers on the web. They also have an Affiliate program through http://www.commissionjunction.com/ that lets you put a nifty banner on your site that you can link to almost any store at cafepress.com
www.commissionjunction.com
I signed up with them so that I could get a Cafe Press banner, but they seem to offer a lot more opportunities than that. While I'm still experimenting with this one, you should check it out for yourselves and see if they've got something that's targeted for your site.
http://www.google.com/adsense
This one is a no-brainer. If you haven't signed up for it yet, then what are you waiting for?
And, that brings me to the end of my list so far. Keep in mind though; I've only been researching this part time for less than a week. Give me another month and I'll probably find a dozen more. The opportunities are there, and they're legitimate, so keep searching. You may find a way out of your day job yet!

Post a CommentGreat list! Thanks for the resources. I have to say, I'm also a huge fan of Squidoo- you won't make much money upfront, but it's got such a great google ranking that it can really help promote your articles here as well as cafepress and a ton of other things! Beware though, Squidoo is definitely addictive!
