Give Peace a Chance

The Flaming Middle East Can Become the World's Most Peaceful Places to Live

Waell `Murray
It's been over half a century since the troubles started in the Middle East, and every year the problem seems to become more and more complex and unsolvable. It's, by no means, a time to find out how and why this situation existed, instead, it's time we show a real interest in finding a solution.

Can we imagine a country were people from all ethnicities, religions, colors etc. living under one rule, respecting each others' values, treating every person in a mutual humanity and further more acting like members of one nation? It's happening right here in the U.S.A., isn't it? Muslims, Jews, and Christians from all kinds of sects originally came from four continents and from hundreds of nations, all live in peace and harmony in this great nation and all enjoy freedom and many more perks equally available for all.

When this nation was young and barely established, people migrated from the rest of the world and one thing they made sure of, and that is the creation of a new home for all peoples from everywhere, a place where everybody is free, a place where justice is for everyone and opportunities are equal to all. Today, we are witnessing the results of the hard work this nation's finding fathers had to do in order to create this nation we live in.

Isn't true that people of the Middle East can duplicate the same situation we have in the United States and in less than half a century this region can become the most prosperous part of the world? With stability in the region every trade will prosper, tourism will turn this holly land into a gold mine and money will be pouring into the area from every direction. It's eminent, though, that all parties should drop the rifle and work like a building team in every field. Agriculture can replace the fighting that is taking place on the same battle fields, turning the same ground into a rich source of natures' best nourishments, this place can become the world's bread basket if only good intention was to replace animosity and hatred.

The task isn't hard or impossible, but requires some serious work. Everybody will need to work his or her best, the responsibility is everybody's, and the entire world is needed to participate. The problem was initiated by interference from other nations after the Second World War and it's a burden on all nations to pave the ground to true peace in the region. Money shall not be spent on arms and weapons any more, and efforts shall be concentrated on making life beautiful for all, with justice, equality and freedom.
