Let God
make you a cistern
of His Holy Spirit.
make you a cistern
of His Holy Spirit.
Let Him make you
a reservoir
of His pure love.
May charitable acts
flow from your fingertips.
May prayers of faith
slip often from your tongue.
Give yourself
to Him.
Serve Him.

Well written
Lovely Shirley, thank you!
Don't know if I commented on this before, but want to say how beautiful it is, and moving.
Wonderful poem Shirley, I'm going to share with my FaceBook crowd!!!
I've been reading some articles with sentiments against Christians lately, and from AC contributors no less. I'm not going to get into a debate with any of them, but I just wanted to say that I am thankful that I can read such inspiring work from you. It reminds me why I am a Christian and gives me peace when I get a little riled up from others putting down our faith. I love the part about charitable acts flowing from our fingertips.
This is beautiful. well written.
Very well done!
