Giving Don'ts: 5 Gifts Never to Give a Girl
5) A ring. This is very tough. To be honest, I"ve never had a guy give me a ring I've liked. I always exchanged them or sold them. A ring can also be seen as a commital form of jewelry, so best to approach this with caution. If you've been with a girl a short amount of time, you definitely don't want to get her a ring just yet. In addition, there are so many elements that come with a ring. There's the size, the cut, the style, color, type of jewelry, and just because she likes pearls, it doesn't mean that she's going to like any ring with pearls on it. Best to let her pick it out prior to giving it to her.
4) A picture frame. Girls are very particular about the types of things they decorate their home with, and if you give her a picture frame that's even slightly out of her color scheme, she's not going to like it. It's going to collect dust at the back of her closet.
3) A dress. Unless you know her exact size and style, stay away from this. You'll insult her if you get her a size too large, and you'll embarass her if you get her a size too small.
2) A random trinket. Porcelain figures, shapes made out of crystal, ornaments to hang on a tree, these are all rather useless items that don't do much for most people. Give these to your grandmother, she'll appreciate them more.
1) A stuffed animal. Okay, unless you're at a carnival and you win her a teddy bear, that's different because you have a shared memory together behind that teddy bear. If you just buy her a stuffed animal, it has no special meaning attached. "Oh, that's the stuffed bear he gave me for Valentines Day. And that's the stuffed rabbit he gave me for my birthday." You, along with five million other guys gave her the same stuffed animal. tsk, tsk.
There you have it, Don't get her these 5 gifts and you will be in the good zone with her.
