Giving Fabulous Gifts

Be Known as a "Great Gift Giver"

Marissa
I have always been known as a great gift giver. Being that I have such a creative background, finding cool gifts for people without breaking the bank has always been my forte. When birthday's roll around, everyone from my friends to my family cannot wait to see what I have given them. Here are some great tips, ideas and gifts that I have actually purchased for the people.

Gifts for Men
I find shopping for men extremely hard. I've always put a lot of thought into what I buy the men in my life. Tiffany (Tiffany.com) beer mugs are one of my favorite gifts to give men. At $30 each this gift is so luxe without hurting your bank account. I especially love them because it's ok to give just one! Another one of my all time favorites is the Art of Shaving shaving cream (TheArtofShaving.com or Nordstrom.com) and shaving oil. This barber shop has been on Madison Ave for years and their products are superb. The shaving cream is about $25 and the oil is about $22. They will never switch back to another brand ever again.

Gifts for Women
There are so many things that you can buy women. One of my favorites is a Coach (Coach.com) umbrella. For $50 this is a fun gift that every woman would love and not buy for herself. I also love giving personalized stationary as another gift. Stores like Blue Tuip (BlueTulip.com) make beautiful personalized stationary and will even wrap it up for you beautifully.

Gifts for a Teenage Girl
Teen girls love what's trendy at this moment. Right now Juicy Couture (NeimanMacus.com) is one of the most popular brands among teens and also one of the most expensive. Juicy jewelry charms are great. Ranging from $30-$75 you are sure to find one in your budget.

Gifts for a Teenage Boy
Gifts for teen boys need to be ultra cool as well. Burberry baseball caps (NeimanMarcus.com) are one of my favorites for teen boys. They are fashionable, cool and definitely a chick magnet! For $50 you can't go wrong!

Gifts to Get Well
When someone is sick try something other than flowers. One of the things I love to do when someone needs to get well is go to a drugstore and buy them products. For instance: Carmex chap stick, Aveeno body lotion, Cetaphil face wash, Dove soap, an Intuition razor, Herbal Essence shampoo and Vogue might be nice for the woman who is healing. Nivea Men's shaving cream, a Mach 3 razor, Carmex chap stick, Suave Men's shampoo and Maxim might be nice for the man who is bedridden. Go to your local dollar store for a basket and some cellophane wrap and you have yourself a unique get well soon gift.

Remember stores like HomeGoods, Target, Brookstone, Sharper Image, Crate & Barrel, Uncommongoods.com and Designer outlet stores are other great places to find gifts for the important people in your life. The key to being a good gift giver is to buy things that people would not normally buy for themselves. That is my strategy everytime I purchase a gift for someone. Be thoughtful and creative and you will always give a good gift.
