Do you love Chicken Gizzards? If you do there is a place you must go it's called Gizzard City USA. The Gizzard Capital of the world is in the small town of Potterville, MI at a place called Joe's Potterville Inn. Even better is that this is the site of Gizzard Fest the celebration of Gizzards that happens here. Last year over 2,000ponds of Gizzards were consumed durring the one weekend of Gizzard Fest and 2 pounds were eaten by the reining chamion in 2 minutes and 52 seconds. This year if you come you could beat that record. The festivities begin June 11th and continue through the 13th .
2010 is the 11th year of the festival and it has something for everyone so check it out at www.gizzardfest.com.
I'm not a fan of Gizzards, but I love Chicken. Amazingly people I know say that Joe's Potterville Inn has the best Gizzards known to Gizzard fans. So if your looking to have fun, eat Gizzards and are determined top have the best check out the Gizzard Fest. It's the home of Gizzard Wizzards!!
