Location
7840 West Lane Stockton, Ca is where you'll find the GK Mongolian BBQ restaurant. There isn't much to say about the location, it's neither particularly hard nor easy to find.

A detractor on its location is that right next to is a Jollibee's. I don't mean to offend but Jollibee's are most definitely not the best place to eat, or a place I'd like to have near me when eating. Something that more than makes up for it is the Walgreen's less than a minute away. Walgreen's is a great place to have near pretty much anywhere.

Ambiance
GK has a definite casual atmosphere. It's loud and a little cramped to those not used to it, but a great place to bring kids and not have to worry about them disrupting others. If you've never been to a Mongolian BBQ style restaurant before it can be slightly confusing as to what to do, but even here the restaurant is designed to get you in line piling your bowl full of food.

Staff
In a word, friendly. Friendly is exactly what I like in staff, it lets you forgive a lot of things like inefficiency. Fortunately here at GK they don't need it to do so, they've managed to groom a friendly efficient and well focused staff.

I've never been ignored, or not greeted cordially by any except those working at the grill. That's fine by my, in a serving staff you want friendliness, in a cooking staff (Especially if you're watching them work) what you ideally want is a great deal of focus. They have it.

Food
I love Mongolian BBQ of all kinds and GK doesn't disappoint, the cooks aren't exceptional but they don't have to be for the kind of cuisine. I've had both better and much worse from this style of restaurant. What does set aside GK is that it serves the most delicious sesame biscuits for dinner.

Over-All Suggestion
It isn't for everyone, and it isn't for every time or purpose. You won't get work done over dinner, you won't get any real level of peace and quiet either except for during some odd lull times. What it does though, it does well.

GK provides a family friendly, hearty meal that all around just tastes good. At fulfilling those simple needs, it excels, performing wonderfully.
