Glad Quart Zipper Bags: A Review

If you have read any of my reviews you might know that I am a bargain shopper. Under normal circumstances I exclusively purchase store brand products in an effort to save money and find products that are comparable in quality to the national brand.

A few weeks ago I stopped by Family Dollar to purchase a few items such as toilet tissue, food storage baggies and liquid hand soap. As I stood there looking at the limited selection of baggies I realized I would either have to go to another store or purchase the national brand of baggies made by Glad. I was ready to stop by a different store when I saw that the box of 32 quart sized zipper storage bags were $2.50, but there was a coupon worth 75 cents attached to the box. I purchased the Glad quart sized zipper storage bags to save myself another stop.

I was very impressed with the Glad quart size zipper storage baggies. I have grown accustomed to the cheaper brands and I forgot how thick and durable Glad zipper bags are! They do keep food fresher and are easy to open without damaging the bags. I had a hard time sealing these baggies for some reason, but I liked that they yellow and blue seals together turn green which lets me know that the bag is sealed completely. I was impressed with the size of the bags and the amount included in each box.

Another feature I like about Glad quart size zipper storage bags is that you can microwave these baggies without them melting. The same can not be said for less expensive brands! Glad quart zipper storage bags are a generous size, ideal for sandwiches, storing extra bread and most snack sized foods. I don't worry about damaging the bag when opening or closing it, and I know my food will be fresh when I open the Glad quart sized zipper storage bags.

I think I will spend the extra dollar in the future and exclusively purchase this brand for my food storage needs. This product is superior to other brands and it does keep things fresh for longer than your average store brand zipper storage bag would. I would recommend the Glad brand of zippered storage bags to anyone, in any size. This is a great product you can count on to preform exceptionally every time.
