Glee in Concert 2011 Hits US, Canada, UK, and Ireland

Are you ready to get your Glee on? The "kids" of Glee are. The majority of the McKinley High Glee club members, along with Warbler, Blaine are heading for concert halls all over the US beginning May 21st in Las Vegas, NV. and ending in Dublin, Ireland on July, 3rd. Notably missing are Mr. Shue and Sue Sylvester. What will the kids do wothout their guidance?

Although concerts are not in my budget, I'm excited that Glee is touring nonetheless. The kids are going to be busy from the end on May until early July. Scheduled concert cities are as follows; Las Vegas, NV, Sacramento, CA, San Jose, CA, Anaheim, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Valley Center, CA, Minneapolis, MN, Indianapolis, IN, Rosemont, IL (2 shows), Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, Toronto, ON (3 shows), Auburn Hills, MI, Cleveland, OH, East Rutherford, NJ (2 shows), Long Island, NY(2 shows), Manchester, UK (2 shows), London, UK (7 shows), Dublin, Ireland (4 shows) .

Glee, the TV show, of course, has been highly successful with both audiences and critics, winning several Golden Globe and Emmy awards. But it's become much more than that, with album sales breaking records, attracting guest stars like Carol Burnett, Gwenyth Paltrow, Neil Patrick Harris, and more. It's also had its share of controvesy and has shed light on various social issues. It's just too bad none of the guests will be popping in on the show. One might say the show is legendary, and tickets are likely to go fast.

Anyway, performers on deck include: Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine). I'm a little curious how Darren Criss will fit in without the other Warblers, save Chris Colfer(Kurt). Is this foreshadowing that Blaine might end up at McKinley? Who knows?

Ticketmasters are starting to sell tickets for most dates of the Baker's Dozen (there happens to be 13 performers) on February 19th at 10 a.m., prices vary.
