This brightly colored collection features seven fun shades, each based on a popular Glee character. In true OPI fashion, the colors all have fun names. Each polish is sold separately for $9.50, or you can purchase a mini set of six for $24. The GLEE nail polish by OPI for Sephora is only available at Sephora retail stores or at the Sephora website. Here's a look at the collection.
Slushied (Finn): Glee fans are all too familiar with the Slushie! On several episodes, one of the characters gets a Slushie thrown in his or her face by a jock. "Slushied" is Finn's color and it's a bright turquoise.
Diva In Training (Santana): Santana, the snippy Cheerios cheerleader has a bold pink color to represent her in the GLEE Nail Polish by OPI for Sephora collection. Quite appropriate, I will say, given the character's snobby attitude and diva tendencies.
Gleek Out! (Kurt): This is a shimmery light green color with a touch of gold.
Miss Bossy Pants (Rachel Berry): This is a opaque raspberry red color to represent the star of the show.
Who Let the Dorks Out (Sue Sylvester): Personally, this is my favorite, in terms of both the polish's color and the name. It's a shimmery metallic rich teal.
Hell to the No (Mercedes Jones): This polish has a bright true purple with gold accents.
Mashed Up (Will Schuester): This is a opaque gray color with a hint of shimmer.
Additionally, Glee themed nail appliqués will be available with this collection at Sephora. Three choices will be available: "Berry Special," which is navy polka dots, "One Hit Wonder," which are music notes and "Show Stopper," which feature stars. Each set retails for $15 and comes with 16 nail appliqués. To use these appliqués, apply your nail polish, wait until dry, then press the appliqués on your nails.
The Glee nail polish collection by OPI for Sephora will be shown on the Feburary 8th, 2011 episode of Glee.
For those interested in the mini set of Glee nail polishes, the mini set contains different colors than the full-size polishes. Included in the mini set are: Miss Bossy Pants, Slushied and Gleek Out. The additional colors are Sue vs Shue (dark blue), a topcoat and Express Yourself to Yourself, which is a light orange shimmer.
