Glee Season Two Guest Stars Are Lining Up

Yes, it is true that the cast roster for FOX's hit musical dramedy Glee is already ginormous, and yes, it is also true that this already bloated cast will grow even larger in Glee's sophomore season. These characters will be spoken about, written about, and discussed about at length throughout this upcoming season of Glee.

Instead of joining the piles of dust covered articles regurgitating the same old rumors, I would prefer to educate you on the guest stars who may come and go this season of Glee, and why you should already know and care about these great performers. This list of performers includes John Stamos, Susan Boyle, Javier Bardem, and Dr. Frankenfurter.

Let us start with John Stamos, who most of America knows as Uncle Jesse from the oddly still popular series Full House. In the newest season of Glee, John Stamos is slated to play Emma's dentist,Carl Howell. For those true Gleeks of you out there, this should ring a pretty loud bell. Remember last season when Emma was talking about how she was dating her dentist? John Stamos has been around the block a few times when it comes to television acting. Starting out on an episode of General Hospital way back in the 1980's, nobody would have guessed that John Stamos would star on one of the most popular sitcoms in American history - yes, that is a Full House reference again - as well as numerous other television shows; including Thieves, Jake in Progress, and ER.

Javier Bardem is also rumored to be a future guest star on Glee. He will be playing a rock star who befriends Artie. Javier Bardem has been acting for over thirty years, getting his start in Spanish language television roles. He has gone on to win acclaim and numerous awards for his roles in movies such as Before Night Falls and No Country for Old Men.

Susan Boyle may be showing up on television again, and with a voice like hers, what better place than FOX's Glee? For those few of you that actually do live under rocks, Susan Boyle is the amazingly talented singer from America's Got Talent, who has gone on to worldwide fame.

And finally we have come to Dr. Frankenfurter. What? Have you never heard of this actor before? That would be because this is no actor, but actually one of the most iconic characters to ever grace any musical through history. Most famously played by Tim Curry, Dr. Frankenfurter is the 'sweet transvestite' from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. One of two themed episodes planned for the upcoming season, the one most eagerly awaited on the net is the Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute episode. Not much else to say about that one except, "Oh Rocky!"
