Glenn Beck Documentary Exposes the Liberal Adoration for Communist Dictators

Marc Schenker
Glenn Beck's new documentary, The Revolutionary Holocaust, Live Free or Die, exposes the liberal adoration for communist dictators. Airing yesterday in his show's usual time slot on good old FNC, Beck serves as narrator and introduces each segment as host. This is the documentary that Beck has been working on, according to him, since last August; this is also the documentary that, according to him, stunned people on his own staff who have Master's Degrees in history with information they never learned in school. Beck's game plan going in to making this documentary was to expose how liberals have been praising people like Mao and Stalin-even putting them on oh-so-trendy T-shirts, dawg!-while weirdly denouncing mass-murderers on an equally bad level, like Adolph Hitler. His point was to show there's no difference between so-called "right-wing" dictators like Hitler and the lefty communists like Mao and Stalin. His additional intent was also to prove that, by whitewashing history, liberals have perversely succeeded in making it "cool" to admire monsters like Stalin and Mao.

Thus, this Beck documentary acts like an antidote, revealing never-before-heard facts about the lefty mass-murderers in the hope that some liberals will come to their senses and stop glorifying these mass-murderers. As someone who's been critical of Beck for his flamboyant and theatrical presentation, I've to praise this documentary as it seriously taught me several points-of-fact concerning those leftist icons like Che, Mao and Stalin.

Remember when you were in high-school or college, and you had the bad luck to have a radicalized, liberal "teacher" who thought revisionist history was all the rage...so he or she would tell you that Hitler was a right-winger while conveniently glossing over the Maos and Stalins of history? Well, this documentary was probably borne out of the need to correct all the ideological lies that such people have, unfortunately, borne into the country's collective conscience, courtesy of their stranglehold on the educational system. While it's an accepted fact that Mao and Stalin and Che were bad guys and killers, the liberals have sanitized their record so fiercely that I bet you can't really specifically name some of their genocidal policies!

Ever hear of the 1939 pact between Nazi Germany (so-called right-wing) and the Stalinist Soviet Union (lefties) called the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact which agreed on a division between Germany and the Soviet Union of their neighboring countries? Did you know that communist-inspirer Karl Marx was at least as anti-Semitic as Hitler despite the fact he was Jewish himself? Did you know that lefty icon Che Guevara thought blacks (whom he called "negroes") were lazy and spent all their money on alchohol? Read on and learn, shedding the restrictive control of the liberal revisionist history you may be under, courtesy of Glenn Beck.

The first segment of Beck's documentary focuses on the inarguable parallels between Hitler-whom the left brands as "right-wing"-and the lefty-loved totalitarians like Stalin et al. While the left holds up Stalin, for instance, in a romanticized way because of the supposed "good intentions" of communism, they brand Hitler as a "right-winger." However, Hitler's agenda included pushing for universal healthcare, a cradle-to-grave society, and a demonization of big business and capitalism...all things that are right at home in the communist, Stalin playbook (and, conspicuously, as the last year has taught us, the Obama Administration).

Beck's second segment connects the dots between Nazism and Soviet communism even further. Some interesting facts exposed include: Hitler's intent to draw socialists to his party by using the dominant color red on his Nazi flag, red, of course, being the prominent symbol of Soviet communism, ie., their nickname, "The Reds"; the mutual exchange between Germany and the Soviet Union of prisoners; and excessively praised playwright, George Bernard Shaw, the proud socialist who advocated mass-killings of people considered "unfit" if they consumed more than they produced.

The third segment is maybe the most interesting as it exposes the very little-known fact of the Ukrainian Holodomor, translated as Murder by Hunger. This is the result of Stalin Soviet policy which-despite the fact that the Ukraine enjoyed a larger-than-normal wheat crop in 1932-exported grain from the Ukraine to ensure mass-starvation of the Ukrainian people. This lead to the "Murder by Hunger" as starving Ukrainians desperately began cannibalizing each other to survive. This only lead to the death of, oh, you know, something like several million people, all thanks to the liberal icon, Stalin, whose record the libs have at least whitewashed.

The fourth segment shifts the examination to now focus on Che Guevara, the epitome of the liberal icon for all things, supposedly, including being a doctor, author, "intellectual" and even a "diplomat!" Many of the insane celebs in Hollywood think he's cool and trendy and sport his image in lots of places, but reality is a different story as Guevara was actually guilty of advocating a philosophy of anti-Americanism that predated Bin Laden by decades; massacred several hundred people at La Cabana prison; and imposed bans on free expression like rock and jazz music.

The fifth segment shows the very human consequences of Che's mass-murder campaigns as surviving family members of one of Che's victims are interviewed, grieving at the unjust fact that the liberals in pop culture have wickedly succeeded at glorifying him as an icon figure.

Closing out the documentary is segment six which focuses on another traditionally praised, liberal icon, Chairman Mao, undoubtedly the biggest killer of all liberal icons. Mao is the callous killer whose "Great Leap Forward" actually killed off tens of millions of fellow Chinese. In response, this godless communist responded by stating that the people ought to be educated into eating less and that death has benefits: Dead bodies can fertilize the soil.

Unless you have no heart or soul-keep in mind this is my opinion and you have the constitutional right to disagree-I cannot see a person who watches this documentary not coming away with healthy degrees of actual anger at liberals, plain and simple. This impacting documentary establishes beyond the shadow of a doubt that monstrous mass-murderers who have no respect for basic values that most people hold dear-like, say, life, for instance-are actually feted and held up as examples to emulate by many liberals. This is unpardonable when you consider the nearly incomprehensible magnitude of human misery these killers have inflicted on their fellow man...yet many liberals hold up parts of their policies or ideology as something praiseworthy. Disgusting!!

Hilarious. Beck's a idiot and a liar. No one with any brains takes him seriously, do they?

Fantastic piece, great analysis. Thanks for putting it together here.

I find it kind of commical that Hitler is in the same "Rightist" category as the Republicans, and Staling is in the same "Leftist" category as the democrats... maybe it says more about our politicians than it does the dictators themselves...

When beck claimed to have discovered communist" and "fascist" art on NBC headquarters at Rockefeller Center, as well as on land behind the United Nations that was donated by Rockefeller, I realized that he seriously need mental health treatment. Nolan is perfectly correct. Beck is certifiably insane.

    Excellent job, Marc!

Beck bases his whole documentary on the work of Jonah Goldberg "Liberal Fascism", which is fraught with mistakes, lies, and complete disdain for history. Marc, before you buy this fable hook, line and sinker, read some real historians on the topic of fascism. May I recommend Robert Paxton "The Anatomy of Fascism".

    Good job on this.

    Awesome job Marc!

Excellent work on this. Few people have bothered to uncover the truth about some of the radical left's iconic "heroes." I don't listen to Beck myself but even I could figure out our government's need to get rid of the elderly stems more from the knowledge of history that they carry than their so-called drain on American health care. Eliminating us makes it a lot easier for them to rewrite history the way they want it to read.

I found both his work and yours highly professional and always interesting and informative, keep it going.
