Glenn Beck Going Blind: A Macular Dystrophy Ailment Could Affect Fox News Host
Did Glenn Beck Pay a Doctor $1,000 to Find Out Something He Knew His Whole Life?
That's not to say that Glenn Beck is well loved; there are many out there that cannot stand his overly-dramatic way of making his point. They consider him a "right wing nut", among other things.
Where Glenn Beck is hated by a host of many, he's adore by an equal amount who cite that he's about the only person who is honest and who makes sense of our tumultuous time as a nation.
Whether you love him or loathe him, hearing that Glenn Beck is going blind is a very sad day. No human being wants to see another suffer; Beck is a decent human being and this, if it happens, is a true tragedy.
Beck told his audience about his case of macular dystrophy, saying "a couple of weeks ago I went to the doctor because of my eyes, I can't focus my eyes...he did all kinds of tests and he said, 'you have macular dystrophy ...you could go blind in the next year. Or, you might not.' I said, did you just charge me a thousand dollars for knowing what I knew my whole life?"
The sarcasm is what we all experience whenever we go to the doctor. IT was also an appropriate confession considering that he went on to speak out the nation's healthcare situation.
For those who don't know, Rush Limbaugh is also going progressively deaf. As pointed out in an NBC Los Angeles Blog, the two could pull off a "See no evil, Hear no evil" performance. We all know that he is very over-the-top and overly dramatic at times, and that would be PERFECT for such a role. It won't ever happen - unless Saturday Night Live writers lay out a skit outlining this possibility (hint, hint if you are out there reading this).
All jokes aside, here's to hoping that the Fox News host doesn't go blind within a year; we have all been frustrated by doctors who don't give us any indication of what is really going on with our health. It's almost as if they always try to cover their liability exposure. Couldn't they just run some more tests and give him a definitive answer?

You don't understand why "people are hateful against Glenn Beck?" You gotta "give credit to Beck... he's entertaining... and backs it up with FACTS." The only sadness I find in this article is the blindness of his followers. I don't "see" how any of this will change his message or the lemming mentality of his followers.
I'm sorry to read this. I just love Glenn Beck and his take on life & politics. We should all be a little more impassioned as he is. I follow both sides of politics and decipher things for myself but you gotta give credit to Beck... he's entertaining AND I've learned more about history from watching his show than in all my HS and college years. He backs it up with FACTS. Thanks Glenn!

Folks: I don't know, why a lot of people are hateful against Glenn Beck?
This also makes no sense to me, he is a great human beeing, doing good things in life and praying to God.
If there is something wrong with that,
than all haters are animals, just destroying the positive things in all of us. Well, this is not my point here, the point here is, that I am very concerned about Glenn's health.
With this "Macular Dystrophy" there must be some help outside, and right, the doctors should do some more tests
on him?

The irony of this all is that Glenn sees in the country that most do not. The truth..Whether you love him or hate him he speaks the truth has opened the eyse of many people out there. We thank you Glenn and wish you the best.
