Glenn Beck: Obama was Cross Between Fabio and Randy "Macho Man" Savage in His State of the Union

Marc Schenker
Glenn Beck's opinion of Obama's State of the Union speech was that he came off as a cross between long-haired, "male," romance model Fabio and the 80s wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Ooooo, yeeeaaaah! On his highly-rated, FNC show yesterday, Beck let Obama have it in a brutally honest way that's defined him. More specifically, Fabio because Obama was enamored with himself, and Randy "Macho Man" Savage because he was "educating" all Americans in that typically husky, "macho man" voice about how "great" he is. Then, Beck went even blunter by charging that Obama thought all Americans are really stupid. With all the lying about lobbyists, who's to blame for the sorry state of the country currently, and calls for politeness (while Obama was ripping Bush, the SC, the GOP, etc.), it was quite clear Obama during his speech thought all Americans were really, really stupid.

Beck disliked Obama's blame-game in his speech, especially the part where he shifted the blame to Republicans via accusations of "partisan bickering" for apparently holding up his agenda (you know, all that extremely popular stuff like Obamacare...and Cap N' Trade...and gays serving openly in the military!). Segueing to what he called a focus on "math" and "logic," Beck vividly used magnets and a blackboard to illustrate just how asinine the untruth of blaming the Republicans was in this case. Patiently explaining that both the Senate and the House currently have a Democrat super-majority, Beck homed in on the fact that the Democrats didn't need cooperation from the GOP to pass any of Obama's sick policies. Even now with Scott Brown's victory, Senate Democrats could theoretically choose the nuclear option and require passage by only 51 votes, again eliminating the need for GOP cooperation to pass legislation. This tied in to Beck's overall point that Obama's accusatory buzz phrase like "partisan bickering" was really nothing but BS, to say the least!

In Beck's view, the reason for such impotence in the Democrats' desperation to try to pass their choice legislation is-surprise!-their own people! Or, more specifically, progressive Democrats fighting their slightly less left-of-center fellows on all issues. He then went on to show some progressive ads in a hilarious case of the Democrats eating their own, or, more specifically, progressive members of the Democrats sponsoring hateful attack ads against more "moderate" members of their own party who just aren't ready to embrace totally liberal positions with the certainty that progressives do. Beck's analysis follows a theme he's been driving home for the last little while about there being an infighting feud within the Democrat Party.

Beck reasons further that Obama's State of the Union blame-game towards the GOP is unwarrantable for another reason: that the Tea Party protests so popular last year weren't a manifestation of a loosely aligned, GOP conspiracy to gin up opposition to Obama's Great Leap "Forward"-style plan for US healthcare. But, rather, these protests scared the living daylights out of the few "bluedog" Democrats in the party who then experienced second thoughts about blindly following their "Great Leader" Obama in socializing US healthcare. Hence, the division in the Democrat Party that caused the downfall of Obamacare up until now, which Beck has convincingly established.

I've no clue why the liberals are so virulent towards Beck and make him out to be an uneducated hayseed full of craziness. Wait-hold on a moment...actually...yup...yup...I just remembered why: because liberals are deeply threatened by Beck's ability to simply and effectively focus on a premise and boil it down to where even the simplest liberal can understand it. With this aforementioned expose of Obama's bellyaching about "partisan bickering," Beck has provided videos and blackboard explanations in his focus on both "math" and "logic" to show beyond the shadow of a doubt that yet another of Obama's unchallenged statements is utterly false. Good on you, Beck, good on you.

Excellent analysis Marc. I can't decide who liberals hate most - Beck or Palin.

Personally I thought President Obama gave a good speech, albeit a little too long. The ending was strong.
